Insulated Winter Road Bike Shoe: the Magma R Rock by Northwave
The power transmission is given from the NGR Air Carbon Reinforced sole with a 8.0 stiffness index. The upper has an overlap construction, made with latest innovative materials which evenly wraps the foot without any pressure points, helping to transfer every watt of power and eliminating the dispersion of energy.
The toe is reinforced in TPU and the closure system is comfortable and guarantees an even fit thanks to the SLW2 dial, the only one with a step-by-step release.
The integrated heel seat with directional fiber inner material prevents the lift of the heel, while the Arctic 4Layer insole (Eva/Aluminum/Eva/Pile), together with the Lasting Board Thermal Shield (EVA / Aluminum) create an efficient thermal insulation.
For added safety, the 360 ° reflective inserts enable greater visibility on the road.

NRG Air Carbon Sole
NRG Air Carbon Reinforced provides increased stiffness thanks to the new blend of nylon reinforced with fiberglass and enriched with carbon. As with the whole road soles collection, it features the AirFlow ventilation system. Vents favour an optimal air flow in and out. Compatible with SPD pedals.

Maximum precision and usability. The side button offers dual functionality: press the button for micrometric release, or lift the button to instantly undo the shoe completely. The ergonomic shape of the ratchet base matches the shape of the foot for added comfort, while the size and minimized weight plus the outer soft-touch covering make it easier and better to grip. It features wires that harness the best technologies used in sailing, and can be easily replaced.
Integrated Heel System
The new unibody construction of the uppers allowed to integrate an efficient heel retention system inside the structure, without the need of external elements. Same efficiency, reduced weight.
