The Tannus Armour is a puncture protection insert that is fitted between the inner tube and the tire. The insert protects against punctures caused by sharp objects, snake-bites and side cuts. This makes it possible to ride with much lower pressure without the tire deforming, becoming stiff or difficult to control.

Die Einlagen lassen sich sehr schwer montieren. Nach 300km trotzdem platt. Sehr großer Rollwiederstand.

Die Montage des Pannenschutzes war erstaunlich einfach. Die ersten 300km hatte ich ein sicheres Gefühl, das Fahrgefühl war natürlich nicht so doll. Dann habe ich eine Bikepacking-Tour gestartet und bereits nach 20 km und später nochmal einen Plattfuß bekommen. Deshalb würde ich sagen, kann man sich diese Einlagen sparen.
