I have put this pads on Shimano xt deore v brakes and Kool stop are far better than Shimano pads. No noise and feel smooth, nice braking capabilities

Nice - a little more grippy than the red/black pads that come with the holders, these turn my caliper brakes into progressive and effective units. Pretty good in the rain as well.
