With this tool the top and the bottom head cup will be pressed into the steerer tube simultaneously.
Scope of delivery
- Tool holder with T-handle
- Trapezoidal thread spindle 360mm
- Press bush pair
- Threaded sleeve
- Thrust bearing
Preparation
Screw the trapezoidal thread spindle with the side, which has a fine thread, into the tool holder. Put the thrust bearing and then one of the press bushes on the spindle.
Use
Place the top head cup on the press bush and insert the tool into the steerer tube. Place the bottom head cup on the other press bush and put both of them on the spindle of the tool. Afterwards screw the threaded sleeve on the trapezoidal therad of the spindle. Rotate the tool holder and start to press the head cups. Pay attention, that the cups are not getting jammed during the work. Before you begin to press the head cups, check the diameter tolerance of the cup seating in the frame. You might need to correct the size by milling and facing the steerer tube first.
Tip
Put some lubricant on the head cups to be pressed. It will make the work easier and safe the tool.

Solides und gutes Werkzeug. Es wäre von Vorteil wenn man es optional mit den benötigten Einpressadaptern bestellen könnte. Ich musste mir die Einpressringe für 1 1/8" Semi IHS noch zusätzlich besorgen. Daher ein Stern weniger Aber alles in Allem sehr solide und brauchbar.
Ich muss den Vorbewerter Sebastian L. bestätigen: Dieses Wkz. ist solide - kann aber keine Steuersatzschalen für semiintegrierte Steuersätze einziehen. Jedenfalls nicht ohne Probleme und ggf. gequetschte Schalen. Wer es dennoch versuchen will, sollte einen zweiten Mann dafür sorgen lassen, dass beide Schalen senkrecht stehen beim Einziehvorgang - sonst kippt mindestens eine Schale beim Einpressen. Es gibt zwar mittlerweile Passtücke für diesen Zweck, die aber mit zusätzlichen je 20,00 (ca.) Euro zu Buche schlagen. Alle anderen konventionellen StS.-Schalen lassen sich anstandslos einziehen. Was aktuell wohl eine auslaufende Steuersatzbauart darstellt...
Erfüllt seinen Zweck, stabile Konstruktion, würde ich wieder kaufen.
Funciona de maravilla.Muy buenos materiales. En 5 minutos mis cazoletas de dirección estaban en su sitio. Eso sí, primero una y luego la otra, no cometáis el error de tratar de meter las dos al mismo tiempo xD. Works wonderful, good materials, it got the job done in 5 minutes. Forget about homemade tools.

Das Tool ist sehr solide gebaut. Leider ist es nicht an jeden Rahmen nutzbar, da der minimale Abstand zwischen den zwei Pressbolzen recht groß ist. Die Auflagefläche bei 1 1/8" Zero Stack Steuersätzen ist zu klein um die Lagerschalen gleichmäßig zu verpressen.
