The new Mallet DH SIlver Collection from CrankBrothers have a completely new double sealing system, which prevents water and dirt from getting into the pedal. Even in the most extreme trail conditions, the bearing remains protected and dry.
I've been testing the Crankbrothers Mallet DH pedals extensively on my home trails and in the bike park over the last few months. And the first thing that comes to my mind when I think of them is: GREAT! Besides the fact that they look really smart, the Crankbrothers click mechanism works just perfectly. Even on wet and, above all, muddy bike rides, the pedals don't get clogged up, but master every situation with ease. Once you've got the hang of it, clipping in and out is child's play and you don't have to worry about not being able to get out of the pedal. For me, the Crankbrothers Mallet DH are just the perfect clipless pedals.
