With our PolyX Breaker®, we bring our car expertise to the bicycle tire segment: Polyester has been used successfully for years in car tires and been tried and tested many times. The extremely resistant polyester fibre is woven tightly crosswise. In this way, a very high fabric density is reached which not only makes the Breaker more resistant to foreign objects but is also especially resistant to punctures. The rolling resistance is also not negatively affected by the PolyX Breaker®.

The crucial balance. The rolling properties of the rubber compound of a tyre are primarily determined by three interacting factors – stiction [grip], rolling resistance and mileage [longevity] . The dilemma: If you improve any of these factors it can have a detrimental effect on at least one of the others. A tyre with maximum grip wears quicker and rolls more slowly. If you then make a tyre roll faster and more durable, grip, in turn, is reduced.

Top Reifen! Rollt gut, sehr gute Pannensicherheit und sehr komfortabel. Auch für leichte Graveleinsätze geeignet.
Ein wirklich hervorragender Reifen. Nach bislang 2500km keinen einzigen Platten. Trotz Schotter oder versehentliches fahren durch Glasscherben, keine Probleme. Allerdings fahre ich auch mit Maximaldruck von 6bar. Gesamtgewicht mit Rad und Gepäck 95kg.
Völlig unterschätzter und schneller Straßenreifen. Ich fahre den Urban jetzt seit knapp zwei Jahren vor Allem auf längeren Strecken (LeipzigBerlinLeipzig) auf einem CX-Rad und hatte keinerlei Problem damit. Der Reifen ist schnell, für seine Abmaße sehr leicht und je nach gefahrenem Druck sehr komfortabel. Auch die Naßhaftung ist einwandfrei und meine Pannenstatistik weist genau Null Platten auf. Ich würde den Reifen jederzeit wieder kaufen.
Habe den Reifen für mein Cube SL Road Race gekauft um das Rennrad Fahrgefühl auch im Alltag für die 23 Kilometer zur Arbeit zu haben. Rollwiderstand, Dämpfung und Stabilität sind wirklich Klasse. Die Montage ist etwas fummelig aber nicht wirklich wild. Ich kann den Reifen nur empfehlen und würde ihn auch wieder kaufen.
