The ABUS Chain Lock CityChain 1010/85 with security level 12 of 15 offers very good protection and is particularly suitable for parking spots where there is a high risk of theft and is recommended for securing high quality bicycles. A 9mm thick hexagonal chain with a textile sleeve and an extra secure cylinder, which also protects against lock picking, keep thieves away.

Ich fahre diese 2kg schwere Schloss seit der WM 2006, wo sie mir mein Bike geklaut haben. Seitdem kein Klauversuch meines 1000€ Tourenrades in MUC mehr. Ich habe viele Schlösser, aber warum finde ich das sehr gut? Der Schlossmechanismus funktioniert zu 99,5% fast immer und fühlt sich gut an. Dazu ist das Schlüsselloch leicht gegen Dreck geschützt und schliesst sich. Man kann bei Abus Schlüssel nachbestellen, wenn man einen verliert. Einziges Manke: nach 10 Jahre täglichen Gebrauch sieht der Schlauch zerfleddert aus, andere Schlösser gaben viel früher auf!

Für meinen Geschmack zu schwer und damit unhandlich. Außerdem in der 85cm Ausführung zum Anschluss an feste Ständer doch recht knapp bemessen.
