In 1982, SILCA developed the first adjustable CO2 regulator. As Claudio himself put it at the time, "Before EOLO, you had no choice but to turn the cartridge and pray!" The ability to regulate the inflow of air was key to the widespread adoption of compressed gas on the road. EOLO IV builds on the impressive SILCA tradition, using an ultra-precise valve with a smooth-running spring that gives perfect control over airflow. The EOLO IV pump contains no plastic parts and is made entirely of 6063 series aluminum and stainless steel. The valve pin, made of hardened tool steel, is more than twice as hard as conventional valve pins to ensure many years of trouble-free operation under all imaginable conditions.
