Quick Link wiederverwendbar an der gleichen Kette (zb beim öffnen wegen Reinigung o.ä.). Nicht wiederverwenden an neuer Kette!
Information!!! The SM-CN900-11 chain connector is not reusable!!! and... it's easyer to use a tools to openand close it! Der SM-CN900-11 Kettenverbinder ist nicht wiederverwendbar!!! und... es ist einfacher, ein Werkzeug zum Öffnen und Schließen zu verwenden! Attention, le maillon rapide n'est pas réutilisable! Un outil facilite l'ouverture/fermeture!
Meiner Einschätzung nach ist die Lebensdauer der Kette, bis die empfohlene Verschleißgrenze erreicht ist, überschaubar (bis mangelhaft). Ich tippe derzeit auf 1.000, maximal 1.500 Kilometer. Genaue Ermittlung steht noch aus. Die Beschreibung, dass sich die Kette mit Kettenschloss ohne Werkzeug montieren lässt, halte ich für gelogen. Ja, das Kettenschloss kann geschlossen werden, allerdings nicht mit der Hand und nur über einen Trick. Und geöffnet ... geöffnet bekommt man das Kettenschloss unmöglich ohne eine entsprechende Zange.

Da ich schon über 4.000 km (Straße/Gelände, 70/30) auf meinem Cyclocross gefahren bin, habe ich die die gleiche Shimano-Kette sowie passende Messlehre (Radon, Stahl) geordert. Die Messung mit der Kettenlehre zeigte, dass bei 0.75 noch ewig viel Platz (6-7 mm) ist. Denke die alte Kette hält nochmal locker mehrere tausend Kilometer dank Pflege und Wartung!

Meiner Meinung nach kein Unterschied zur CN-HG701 spürbar. (Außer beim Preis :P)
