Torque wrenches are precision tools that allow bolted connections to be tightened with exactly the force recommended or specified by the manufacturer. Especially for frames and add-on parts made of carbon, the correct torque, which is given in newton meters (Nm), must be observed. However, the correct tightening torque also ensures that the connection is not overstressed for all other materials.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Torque wrenches are not intended to loosen threaded joints, neither in left nor right rotation (screws with left-hand threads are rare, but they are available, e.g. the left pedal!). The loosening of screw connections destroys the sensitive mechanics of the torque wrench. The measuring accuracy is then no longer guaranteed. Inappropriate storage can also affect the accuracy. A torque wrench must always be stored in a released position , i.e. at the lowest adjustable value!
And another important tip at this point: Before using the torque wrench for the first time, we recommend moving it 3 times over the entire scale so that the grease is distributed evenly in the mechanism.

Bon outil, fait le boulot
Macht einen guten Eindruck und funktioniert. Bedienungsanleitung in Deutsch fehlt - nur Englisch vorhanden.

Wenn der zulässige Drehmoment erreicht ist, klickt der Schüssel sehr leise. Das muss man erst einmal rausfinden - normalerweise drehen sie dann durch - und vor allem hören. Sobald ein paar Geräusche in der Umgebung sind, ist das Klick-Geräusch kaum noch zu hören.
OK, so the torque wrench doesn't stop turning the nut at some point, it just provides a kind of 'click'. The click is quite subtle - actually so subtle that I thought it didn't work. I even bought a new one on another website as replacement. After a first bad review of this product, Bike-Discount offered me a refund - that's great service, guys. During the refund process, I discovered that the thing was actually not broken...
Gutes und wertiges Produkt. Macht was es soll zu einem guten Preis (ca 25€). Wenn man sonst alle Steck-Bits schon hat, ist dieser Drehmomentschlüssel eine sinnvolle Ergänzung.
Tut was er soll, einfach zu handhaben.

Hi,für mich als Hobbybiker und Gelegenheitsschrauber total ausreichend. Gut das er arretierbar ist,Oberfläche läßt sich nach Benutzung gut reinigen, glaube ich kaufe die größere Variante vom Radon ECO auch noch,da die Innenlager wohl 40 bis 60 Nm brauchen (Info aus dem Netz)
