The integrated Race Compound, developed in Pirelli's motorsport laboratories, offers a balance between rolling resistance and control. Laboratory, off-road and racing tests confirm its performance in the MTB range. It has been developed for maximum control and speed on a variety of surfaces while increasing puncture protection through excellent tear resistance. The Race Compound is used in a single layer over the entire tread depth, with no inserts of lesser quality compounds, ensuring consistent performance over the life of the tire.
LITE MTB
The Lite MTB casing, a lightweight and supple construction, maximizes speed, handling and ride feel. This carcass is designed for riders looking for maximum performance or for riders with a precise riding style. The LITE casing is a cross-country weapon through light weight and speed, achieved through a 120tpi fabric construction without additional sidewall protection. The LITE casing has been specially developed for cross-country use and lightweight riders.
