The new SmartEVO compound uses a combination of 3 different polymers, each of which offers a specific performance characteristic and which together provide a perfect balance between the different characteristics: the ultimate goal of all tire engineers. High-performance casing structure with an additional layer of highly cut-resistant fabric under the tread, which provides excellent puncture protection in a wide range of conditions. The combination of this layer and the carcass plies provides excellent efficiency in terms of rolling resistance and weight.
