- The DCA-1 caliper attachments feature protruding contact points that allow the center of the braking surface to be measured. This bypasses the non-worn edge to ensure a more accurate measurement.
- The DCA-1's tapered end points can be used to measure the center-to-center spacing of bolt holes for calculating the bolt circle diameter (BCD) of chainrings and cranks.
