Er bietet bis zu 7 % weniger Luftwiderstand als herkömmliche Rennradhelme. Ausgestattet mit dem Mips®-C2-Sicherheitssystem, liegt der Trenta schwimmend auf dem Kopf auf und kann so, im Falle eines Sturzes, schädigende Rotationskräfte effektiv vom Kopf ableiten.

MIPS is a system that protects against brain injuries that can be caused by rotational movements in the event of an impact. The low-friction insert enables a sliding movement of 10-15 mm in all directions and thus reduces the rotational movement in the event of a fall. MIPS thus offers additional protection.
