The Mavic Cosmic SLR 45 Carbon wheelset combines maximum aerodynamics with outstanding efficiency and reliability. The 23 mm wide, fully tubeless-capable carbon rim ensures lower rolling resistance, smoother handling and excellent control in crosswinds.
FORE technology creates a stiff, durable spoke connection while keeping the rim 100% airtight. Newly integrated ceramic bearings offer minimal friction resistance, higher rotational speed, and a longer service life. The Cosmic SLR 45 delivers an unmatched combination of speed, precision, and comfort.
Features - Mavic Cosmic SLR 45 Carbon
- Infinity hub design - Efficient power transfer thanks to optimised non-contact spoke lacing (no noise under load) and tension distribution. The length of the spokes at the front and rear is identical. Maintenance is easy thanks to a tool-free solution.
- Fore technology - Stiffer and stronger. Instead of being drilled, the lower rim bridge is pushed up on the inside, then threaded to enable the spoke nipples to be directly screwed in it, leaving the upper rim bridge intact.
- Instant Drive 360 freehub technology - The new Instant Drive 360 freewheel system is super light and efficient. A large contactless rubber seal provides low friction, while a wide array of end caps makes it super versatile.
- UST tubeless technology - Traction and control. Universal Standard for Tubeless. Ready to ride tubeless system. The UST concept improves traction, control and comfort whilst reducing inertia and flats.
