The MIPS® Brain Protection System was developed to reduce the rotational forces on the head and brain in the event of an oblique impact. A low-friction layer inside the helmet enables a multidirectional movement of 10 to 15 mm at certain impact angles to reduce the rotational forces acting on the head and increase safety.
