Drivetrain Detox is designed for heavy duty cleaning and even works on waterproof lubricants and greases. The planet friendly formula can easily be rinsed off with water and is the only cleaner of its kind that has no hazard symbols whatsoever! Spray the formula directly onto your chain, cassette, derailleur and crankset with the trigger head. You can also use Drivetrain Detox with a chain cleaner tool by pouring it from the bottle. It is safe to use on all materials such as: metal, plastic, carbon, aluminum, steel, titanium, rubber and seals.

Note: The formula can also be used in a chain cleaning tool; to do so, screw off the trigger head and fill the cleaning tool with Drivetrain Detox. Do not use in direct sunlight or on hot surfaces and be extra cautious with non-factory paintjobs. Store in a cool and dry place and test an inconspicuous area before use.

Application

  1. Rinse the drivetrain area with clean water and spray Drivetrain Detox you’re your chain, cassette, derailleur and crankset.
  2. Let the formula soak for 2-3 minutes before using a brush, cloth or sponge to agitate stubborn contamination.
  3. After cleaning the drivetrain area, rinse thoroughly with clean water.

Das Zeug ist genial. Keine Gefahrensymbole und trotzdem kräftig. Ich habe einen Antrieb, der ein paar Jahre lang nicht gepflegt wurde, damit in zwei Anläufen komplett sauber bekommen. Das macht richtig Spaß.

Einsprühen, einwirken lassen, abspülen, wieder einsprühen und mit der Bürste noch einmal drübergehen - abspülen, fertig. Klappt wunderbar!

Ich benutze ausschließlich biologisch abbaubare Reiniger und da kam mir dieser hier sehr gelegen. Allerdings muss ich leider sagen, dass man auch die komplette Flasche auf den Antriebsstrang sprühen und danach schrubben kann, wirklich sauber wird es damit nicht. Zumal das, was man runterspült, nämlich ein Gemisch aus Öl und Dreck, sowieso nicht ökologisch ist. Daher werde ich wohl hier beim ökologischen Fußabdruck Abstriche machen und mir das harte Zeug besorgen.
