The Shimano TL-FC21 tool fits securely into the slots on the back of the chainring bolts, so that they do not rotate when the bolts are opened with the hexagon socket. With the large side, the crank caps are screwed on / off.
Features - Shimano FC-TL21
- 133mm over all length for better leverage (30mm longer than the previous model TL-FC20)
- Can be also used as 9mm and 10mm wrench
- Hardened steel for rigidity and durability
Usage
- 3 claw end - Holds the slotted chain ring fixing nut securely during the installation and removal of the chain ring
- 2 claw end - For installation and removal of the one key release crank cap

Der Montageschlüssel ist eigentlich keine Hilfe beim Einführen in das hintere Loch. Er ist nur zum kontern geeignet, wenn überhaupt erforderlich. Wenn er magnetisch wäre. gäbe es 5 Punkte.
