SmartGRIP Compound is an advanced rubber compound developed based on motorsport experience. The fact that a single compound is used for the entire tire results in consistently high grip performance on both wet and dry surfaces, even when the lugs start to wear out.
HyperWALL
The HyperWALL is a new e-MTB specific carcass that improves handling and puncture protection at low air pressure, which are the most important characteristics of an off-road tire for Gravity and e-MTB. This new construction is directly derived from Pirelli's experience in motocross: It consists of a thick rubber insert firmly bonded to the bead with a fabric layer. This increases the stability of the bead itself (+ 10%) and protects the tire 50% better from punctures. The result is a level of stability and strength comparable to downhill-specific tires, without their typical weight. The HyperWALL carcass is thus able to withstand the torque and weight load of modern e-bikes, while providing an unparalleled riding experience.
