With its all-new tread pattern, Maxxis Minion DHF is the ideal tyre for aggressive gravity riding. With the side studs of the legendary DHF, which have been widened a bit for even better cornering grip, it has extreme cornering grip.
This extremely cut and abrasion resistant material protects the sidewall of various MTB tyres. It is very densely woven, light and very flexible. As a result, the performance of the tyres remains convincingly good.
Tubeless Ready (TR)
Tubeless tyres have many advantages: You can drive with less air pressure. This provides better traction and reduces rolling resistance. And where there is no inner tube, the risk of a puncture also decreases. MAXXIS TR tyres are better prepared for mounting with sealing milk than other tubeless ready tyres. The bead of our TR tires is completely covered with a rubber layer like a real UST tubeless tire. Thus the tubeless mounting is successful with all rims with standard dimensions already with the first inflation and with little liquid.
Also "normal" MAXXIS MTB tires can be mounted like tires of other manufacturers tubeless with sealant, because the carcass fabrics are very tight.
Officially approved for tubeless mounting and guaranteed by MAXXIS are only the new MAXXIS TR models. The tubeless assembly of other models is at your own risk.
