Ich habe lange überlegt, ob sich der Aufpreis zum 1040 Solar lohnt, und bisher bereue ich die Entscheidung überhaupt nicht. Besonders auf längeren Ausfahrten ist es einfach angenehm, sich keine Gedanken über den Akkustand machen zu müssen. Die Solar-Unterstützung ist ein nettes Extra, auch wenn sie den Akku nicht komplett ersetzt. Karten laden flott, die Routenführung ist zuverlässig und das Display bleibt auch bei Sonne gut lesbar. Die Verbindung mit den Sensoren und meinem Handy klappt ebenfalls ohne Probleme. Für alle, die regelmäßig Rennrad, Gravel oder MTB fahren, ist das für mich eine klare Empfehlung.
Ich bin echt positiv überrascht vom 1040 Solar. Die Einrichtung ging schnell und nach den ersten Touren wollte ich ihn eigentlich nicht mehr missen. Die Navigation funktioniert richtig gut, selbst wenn man spontan eine andere Strecke fährt, findet er schnell wieder den richtigen Weg. Der Akku ist für mich eines der größten Highlights. Ich fahre regelmäßig längere Touren und musste bisher kaum ans Aufladen denken. Klar, der Preis ist nicht ohne, aber wenn man viel mit dem Rad unterwegs ist, bekommt man dafür einen zuverlässigen Begleiter mit jeder Menge Funktionen. Würde ich definitiv wieder kaufen.
Mein erster Eindruck: Ich bin begeistert! Gestern bestellt und heute Morgen um 9 Uhr geliefert! Vielen Dank an Bike-Discount für den schnellen Service. Die Montage ist wie bei allen Garmin Produkten kinderleicht. Das Display macht einen Hammereindruck. Ich werde nach den ersten Testfahrten ein weiteres Feedback geben.
