The angular contact ball bearings used in the A-BB BSA R2 absorb the combined axial and radial forces which occur, for example, when pedaling better than conventional deep groove ball bearings from other manufacturers.
A special bearing grease ensures a stable lubricating film at high loads and "low" speeds, is also highly water-repellent and offers high resistance to washing out.
