@ how wide a tyre is depense a lot to the inner size of youre rims! If they are old school 17 mm so for sure a 26 tyre will not be 26 mounted on them...
Expensive road tires. I have to go wider (28mm) because of the poor quality of the roads here but I wanted faster tires despite the width. However once mounted these tires measure only 26mm with calipers (not a mistake, I ordered 28mm, the box says 28mm and the writing on the tires says 28mm but they're only 26mm wide). Would not buy again.
