SmartEVO COMPOUND
The new SmartEVO compound uses a combination of 3 different polymers, each of which offers a specific performance characteristic and which together provide a perfect balance between the different characteristics: the ultimate goal of all tire engineers. To bring this project to such a great result, Pirelli used its extraordinary experience, grown in over 100 years of motorsport, and combined it with the extensive wheel racing expertise also available, as well as its own commitment to always work at the highest level. The profound knowledge and chemical know-how enabled Pirelli's material engineers and chemists to make advanced use of a ternary polymer compound, which forms the basis for the "smart" handling, excellent grip in both wet and dry conditions and superior rolling behavior. A performance package suitable for all modern road bikes and terrain types and tuned to enable full performance in any situation, from everyman races to long distance adventures to World Tour classics.
Speedcore
The highest performance tubeless-ready option in Pirelli's road bike range consists of a thin, airtight layer of rubber compound with aramid particles covering the inner part of the tire. The improved flexibility of the rubber compound makes the tire faster and more supple, while the aramid ensures better puncture resistance. The carcass is completed by a 120 tpi nylon fabric and aramid puncture protection. SPEEDCORE is a patent pending technology. SPEEDCORE technology is used exclusively on the TLR models of the P ZERO Race range. SPEEDCORE is the choice of the World Tour Factory Teams.
Tubeless Ready
Tubeless Ready tires are designed for maximum compatibility and sealing with tubeless rims and for easy mounting in tubeless configurations.
