NRG Air Carbon sole
The NRG Air Carbon Reinforced sole is even stiffer thanks to a new mixture of glass fiber and carbon-reinforced nylon. Like the entire collection of road soles, this sole is equipped with the Airflow ventilation system, which ensures optimum air circulation in the shoe thanks to the openings. Compatible with SPD pedals.
Speedplay adapter (optional)
The distance between foot and pedal has never been so small. In collaboration with Speedplay, Northwave has developed and patented an exclusive adapter which, with a thickness of just 0.5 mm compared to the traditional 3 mm Speedplay adapters, guarantees maximum power transmission to the pedals. The nylon adapter with a thin aluminum plate (8.5 g less weight) adapts to the shape of the sole. As a result, the distance between foot and pedal is constantly minimal in every position, without the extra space and weight required by systems without adapters.
