Ich bin mit dem Korrosionsschutz leider extrem unzufrieden. Ich fahre das Fahrrad im Winter, das sind harte Bedingungen. Aber eine 50€ mit angegebenem hohen Korrosionsschutz, sollte das aber aushalten. Sie ist aber leider KOMPLETT korrodiert und gerostet, trotz regelmäßiger Pflege. Gerne hätte ich ein Foto angehängt, das ist hier aber leider nicht möglich.
Can't say anything about extended durability yet, I'm only 100 km in. But so far good impressions. Just for clarity, as some Wippermann chains say they don't work on linkglide, this chain has absolutely no issues on my Cues 2x10 linkglide drivetrain. The wax application is impeccable, just a few drops of excess, the packaging is durable (coated card paper) and compact and contrary to the product photo the quick link I got with it is black. I like that better than metal coloured for ease of finding it, so I'm certainly not complaining, but is is different to the product picture. The wax used looks and feels much like Silca's Super Secret, so especially after using it a bit I have no hesitations to throw it into my pot, not worrying about compatibility. It feels so good just throwing a new chain on without stripping it completely! Is that worth the markup? I think so. I think I would've bought a connex quick link seperately if I bought Shimano and the remaining ~€10-15 premium could be very much worth the removal of hassle, compared to the cheapest way of stripping a regular chain.
