The SHIMANO ULTREAD GF rubber compound and the wide, hexagonal tread pattern are optimally matched to flat pedals and offer maximum pedal grip even in cold conditions. An optimized neoprene shaft hugs the ankle and effectively protects it from stones and dirt, while the robust toe cap provides further protection. The torsional TORBAL 2.0 midsole provides targeted flex in the outer area of the sole, which significantly increases bike control and dynamics in corners and on fast descents.
Multi-layer EVA foam cushions impacts, and water drainage channels in the outsole ensure a secure footing at all times - even when walking on muddy trails.

Synthetics, TextileSehr bequemer Schuh mit super Schnellverschluss. Habe Schuhgröße 45 und auch 45 bestellt. Passt super. Auch mit etwas dickeren Socken. Vor allem an den Zehen genug Luft da nicht zu eng geschnitten. Bei anderen Schuhen immer der Fuß nach 30 min eingeschlafen oder gedrückt. Sohle bieten für mich ausreichend Grip. Fahre bewusst keine Clickis. Die Lüftungslöcher bringen sogar richtig was. Kommt schön Fahrtwind rein. Die Manschette für den Knöchel finde ich auch top. Keine Kieselsteine, Dreck oder Grass mehr in den Schuhen. Mein neuer Sommerschuh. Fahre ihn auf allen meinen Rädern. (Gravel, MTB und Trekkingbike) Im Winter nutze ich den Northwave Multicross Plus GTX in 45. Ebenfalls ein Topschuh. Allerdings gefällt mir der Schnellverschluss von Shimano besser, da man ihn während der Fahrt easy öffnen kann und neu einstellen falls der Fuß doch mal etwas mehr Luft am Spann braucht.
