The updated Debonair air spring offers a buttery-smooth off-thetop feel, tuned to complement the all-new Isolator damper. With a design philosophy based on the Signature Series’ DebonAir+ air springs, RockShox found the perfect blend of positive and negative volumes for a taller ride height and increased mid-stroke support to keep confidence high.The Isolator damper’s IFP design keeps air and oil from mixing, resulting in unparalleled responsiveness on impact and enhanced consistency throughout the range of travel. The all-new Rebound Piston manages oil flow on both the compression and rebound stroke, using shim stacks on the underside of the piston to control the oil flow rate in both directions. The Rebound Piston uses a dualflow rebound circuit that features a responsive easy-flow path for traction in the tech and a hard-flow path that engages when you’re deep in travel for more control. All of this means the front wheel can track through any feature the trail may throw at it while providing predictability and reducing harshness. And… taking another cue from Charger 3, the trick up its sleeve is just how quiet it is.

With a nod to the premium Charger 3 damper found in our Signature Series forks, the all-new Isolator damper utilizes a shimbased, spring-backed Internal Floating Piston (IFP) damper to give riders a consistent and predictable feel throughout its entire travel. Isolator’s three-position Compression adjustment (Open, Pedal, and Firm) means that when the Isolator damper is Open, oil flows freely through the damper to absorb big hits (and save your hands), Pedal is supportive without harshness on successive impacts, and Firm offers the maximum damping force to calm bobbing for the most efficient ride.
Debon Air
It’s ok to be soft. DebonAir is not ashamed to give way under the weakest push. In fact, it makes Monarch and Monarch Plus shocks plusher than ever, right from the start. It might seem a weakness, until you take DebonAir to the trail. The connection between your bike and the terrain will be seamless, as your DebonAir equipped shock absorbs every little hit without any harsh feeling on your body. A shock so soft, you can push way harder. MORE LINEAR SPRING CURVE Lower force levels to move the shock into its travel 1st 1/3 of travel is what riders are most sensitive to MORE TRACTION AND CONTROL No chop on initial hit. Better traction; rear wheel stays on the ground reacting to small bumps.
Bottomless Tokens
Bottomless Tokens allow riders to easily custom tune their RockShox fork’s air-spring performance to best match their own riding style and suspension preference. Adding the easy-to-install Bottomless Tokens changes the air-spring curve to resist bottom-out after a big hit, giving aggressive riders the power to attack the trail harder. Removing Bottomless Tokens makes the air-spring curve more linear, enhancing suspension feel for certain types of terrain or trail condition and ensuring riders who are less front-end aggressive benefit from 100 percent of their fork’s travel.
