Insulated Winter MTB Shoe: the Magma XC Rock by Northwave
With a 200g Primaloft® gold insulation ECO thermal padding derived from recycled material, the shoe guarantees exceptional thermal insulation and breathability. A warm and dry foot in extreme cold conditions thanks also to the additional lining.
Power transmission is given to the Jaws Carbon Reinforced sole with a 8.0 stiffness index and a natural rubber tread heel for extreme grip on any surface.
The toe is reinforced an easy and even closure system is guaranteed by the SLW2 dial, the only one with a step-by-step release, which allows a millimetric adjustment of the shoe in a quick and intuitive way.
The integrated heel seat with directional fiber inner material prevents the lift of the heel, while the Arctic 4Layer insole (Eva/Aluminum/Eva/Pile), together with the Lasting Board Thermal Shield (EVA / Aluminum) create an efficient thermal insulation.

The ergonomic shape of the ratchet base matches the shape of the foot for added comfort, while the size and minimized weight plus the outer soft-touch covering make it easier and better to grip. It features wires that harness the best technologies used in sailing, and can be easily replaced.

The new unibody construction of the uppers allowed to integrate an efficient heel retention system inside the structure, without the need of external elements. Same efficiency, reduced weight.

Textile / Synthetics / RubberIch habe diesen Schuh für Temperaturbereiche unter 10 °C vorgesehen. Und bin sicher, dass er diesen Bedingungen locker trotzt. Denn er ist innen komplett und spürbar mit der Primaloft Membran und der Eco-Iso Polsterung ausgekleidet. Das ist spürbar angenehm und warm. Auch die Innensohle bietet ein angenehmes Fußbett. Durch die Beschichtung im Fersenbereich schlupft man gar nicht, undenkbar, wenn zusätzlich auch noch Thermosocken getragen werden. Weitere Pros sind: *ein flüssig laufender Drehverschluss, der ohne Druckstellen fest und sicher anzieht und sich mit einem Finger lösen lässt; *ausreichend harte und sportlich profilierte MTB Performance Sohle für guten Tritt und Grip *perforiertes und somit atmungsaktives sowie wasserabweisendes Obermaterial Mein Fazit: Empfehlenswert für Herbst-Winterrides, wenn man nicht das Extrem jenseits der Minusgrade sucht
