The Maxxis Assegai WT is the essence of 30 years of racing experience and the expertise of Maxxis from over 50 years of tyre production. The profile features a combination of Minion DHF and Minion DHR II.
Tubeless tyres have many advantages: You can drive with less air pressure and therefore have better traction, the rolling resistance is lower than with hose, and where there is no hose, the risk of breakdowns is also reduced. MAXXIS TR tyres are better prepared for mounting with sealing milk than other tubeless ready tyres, because the bead of our TR tyres is completely covered with a rubber layer like a real UST tubeless tyre. This means that tubeless mounting is successful with the first inflation and with little liquid on all rims that comply with the standard dimensions.Normal MAXXIS MTB tires can also be fitted with sealant like tires from other manufacturers, as the carcass fabrics are very dense.
