The lock is compact and sturdy. The coating prevents scratches on the bike frame. The lock mechanism is protected by a rubber plug preventing water from entering. It's important to remember to put it in place yourself. The chain is robust, both a strength and a drawback due to its considerable weight for portable use. However, on an electric bike, it might be less noticeable if kept in a side bag. The protective cover around the chain makes it rigid, and I deduct points for that and the weight. Overall, I highly recommend it.
