For all those who want more than just a gel and like to reach for fruit gums, there are now the GU Chews (Chomps) in a handy take-away pack. One pack contains 8 fruit gums, which provide energy for up to 120 minutes of sporting activity.
The energy demand can thus be maintained over a long period of time. Sodium, the primary electrolyte that is lost during sweating, supports the required water balance in the body. The contained amino acids leucine, valine and isoleucine can reduce mental fatigue and prevent muscle damage. The easily chewable fruit gums are easy to portion, gluten-free and made from the same recipe as the successful GU Energy Gels.
