The entire front of the leg warmers from thigh to knee to lower waistband as well as the entire lower leg area are made of three-layer softshell fabric with integrated waterproof and windproof membrane. This protective 4-way stretch fabric forms an all-round protection against rain and splashing water. In the calf area, GripGrab relies on a welded seam instead of a traditional seam, creating a fully waterproof connection and perfecting protection.
The raw-cut hem at the bottom of the new "high-stretch" version 2.0 leg warmers is more stretchy than a sewn cuff. This makes it easier to put on and take off, as well as to wear over waterproof overshoes to minimize water entry.
The areas without a waterproof membrane, such as the back of the thighs, are made of soft, brushed material that provides additional insulation and is very stretchy thanks to body mapping. All fabrics have a PFC-free, durable water-repellent coating (DWR) that repels light rain and splashing water.
The elastic silicone grippers on the top waistband provide a secure grip, no matter how hard you pedal.
