Calculate frame size
The right size of your hardtail mountain-bike:
The Inside leg length is multiplied by 0.226 and thus you get the theoretical value of the frame size in inch. One inch equals 2.54 cm.
If the theoretical value is in-between two sizes, the following rule of thumb can be applied:
- choose the smaller size when riding athletically
- choose the larger size when riding tour-orientated
How to determine your Inside leg length:
The Inside leg length or stride height is the length of the inside of the leg. The most accurate way to measure your stride length is to use a spirit level and a tape measure or folding rule. Stand barefoot on a flat surface, clamp the spirit level horizontally between your legs and measure the distance from the upper edge of the spirit level to the ground. This value corresponds to your stride length.
Alternatively, you can also determine your frame height based on your height, see the table below. However, the method using inseam length is more accurate.

Product information "Poles Carbon Z Adjustable - Running/Trekking Poles"
The Running Poles Carbon Z Adjustable 100-120 cm are foldable carbon poles for trail runners and speed hikers who are active in technical terrain. Their low weight and adjustable length make them ideal for steep climbs and long adventures. The sweat-resistant cork grip and Blueberry system also ensure comfort, control and seamless transitions when running and hiking.
Easy to fold in and out - even when on the move
These poles are lightweight, easy to handle and offer a stable grip on uneven terrain. With the flick-lock system, you can easily adjust the length between 100 and 120 cm - ideal for heights from around 143 to 170 cm. You can find your optimum length by multiplying your height by 0.7. Thanks to the three-part Z-construction, the poles can be stowed compactly in your running waistcoat or rucksack. And with the Blueberry system, you can click them in or out in a flash - without taking off your gloves or loops.
The poles consist of slim shafts made of T800 carbon - particularly light and with dynamic swing behaviour. The non-slip cork grip is sweat-resistant and compatible with gloves and straps. Breathable gloves (XS/S) are included in the scope of delivery. The Blueberry system enables quick clicking in and out for smooth changes. With a flick-lock fastener and robust carbide tips, the poles are ideal for long training sessions and demanding terrain. Small plates are pre-assembled, medium plates for soft ground or snow are included.
Attach the poles to your running waistcoat and stow them away in a flash. The Strive Quiver is a lightweight, padded quiver with drainage holes and easy access - suitable for all Strive waistcoats.
