The Free Speed 2500 is a high-performance headlamp with a long burn time, designed for cycling and ski touring where you’re moving at high speed across technical terrain. It delivers 2500 lumens and features a long-life battery in a wireless design. Thanks to its modular design, you can adapt the headlamp to other activities by adding extra lamp units, batteries or mounts.
Silva’s Intelligent Light technology combines a focused high-beam with a wide low-beam. In Speed Mode, the torch provides an extra light boost when cooling conditions allow. The battery has a power bank function for charging a smartphone, watch or cycle computer via USB-C. With the extension cable supplied, you can carry the battery in your pocket or rucksack.

Technologies
Speed Mode – additional light boost
Speed Mode enables a quick light boost from Max Mode. If sufficient cooling is available – for example, from the wind, higher speed or cold air – the lamp increases its light output. Depending on the torch, battery and cooling conditions, this function can be used for up to 50 minutes. As Speed Mode reduces the runtime, you should switch back to another mode as soon as you no longer need the extra output.
Silva Intelligent Light
Silva Intelligent Light technology combines a focused high-beam with a wide low-beam. This gives you visibility at a distance and a good overview of your immediate surroundings.
Airflow Technology
Airflow technology ensures efficient cooling and enables higher light output when cooling conditions permit.
Powerbank function
The 36 Wh battery features a built-in powerbank function. You can use the USB-C port to charge your smartphone, watch or cycle computer, for example.
Modular technology
The components of the Silva Free series can be combined flexibly. Light units, batteries and mounts can be swapped or added depending on the activity. The light and battery can be detached from the headband and attached to a helmet, handlebars or frame, for example, using suitable mounts.
Integrated cables
The cables are integrated into the headband. The wireless design allows you to carry the battery in a bag or rucksack using the supplied 130 cm extension cable.
