Developed for longer treks, the Deuter Aircontact Core 55+10 SL backpack can be individually adjusted to the length of your back thanks to the VariClick system and two positions for position adjustment straps. The ActiveBalance shoulder straps move with the body and, together with the VariFlex system, ensure a balanced carry even for people of smaller stature.
The hip fins distribute the weight evenly, and the exposed aluminium frame ensures stability and good ventilation together with the air spacer mesh. Spacious pockets and a large front opening make equipment quickly accessible.

SL Women's Fit
This model is available as an SL version. The women's specificity of the SL back length is already evident in the back length: on average, women do not have quite as long a back as men. The carrying system of the SL models is therefore slightly shorter than the standard deuter rucksacks. The carrying system is also specially adapted to the female anatomy.
Optimised ventilation
The optimised use of materials makes the Aircomfort back system even lighter and more air-permeable with improved carrying comfort. The widening of the back mesh in the lumbar vertebrae area and a softer mesh material not only ensure maximum ventilation, but also a particularly snug fit for the rucksack.
Deuter Aircomfort
Thanks to the new VariClick system, the back length can be individually adjusted in five stages. The easy-to-operate mechanism provides a noticeable click feedback to ensure safety when it clicks into place and its central position ensures straight alignment. Shoulder straps attached directly to the back frame improve load transfer. In addition, two positions for the position adjustment straps allow precise adjustment to body size. The hip fins distribute the weight evenly across the hips for a high level of comfort. In addition, the continuous padding on the hip fins and shoulder straps reduces pressure points and noticeably increases comfort.
Made without PFAS
This Deuter product is free from perfluorinated and polyfluorinated chemicals. Deuter is thus reducing the use of environmentally harmful substances that are harmful to health and the environment.
PFAS is used as a coating for rain protection, among other things, as they have water, dirt and grease-repellent properties.
Instead, Deuter now uses DWR (Durable Water Repellency) impregnation, which is harmless to health and environmentally friendly.
