I've had two of these CO2 controls from Lezyne (and owned several other, much worse products). The first one was lost on a French autoroute (oops!) so i replaced it like for like. After a couple of years, it now leaks as soon as I connect thew cartridge. I can usually fill a road tyre quick enough but it's annoying that there's a constant noise of CO2 leaking. There's no chance of say, a small reinflation of a slow puncture several times ona ride, using the same cartridge. It's a one shot repair now so I'm going to replace it. I'm going to try the Silca one instead. It's disappointing that it didn't last far longer - I wouldn't normally expect a tool like this to become unreliable, even after 10 years.

The control valve is a big plus for this kind of pumps, as you can fill the tire at slow speed at first to spot possible tire installation mistakes, however it leaks very slowly, making a cartridge empty while you don't need it. The protector sock, could be a bit thicker, as it doesn't protect in the end you fingers for frost burns at not so high flow speeds.
