Tubeless Ready (TR)
Tubeless tyres have many advantages: You can ride with less air pressure. This gives you better traction and reduces rolling resistance. And where there is no inner tube, the risk of punctures is also reduced. MAXXIS TR tyres are better prepared for mounting with sealing milk than other "tubeless ready" tyres. The bead of our TR tyres is completely covered with a layer of rubber, just like a real UST tubeless tyre. This means that tubeless tyres can be fitted successfully on all rims with standard dimensions from the very first inflation and with little liquid.
EXO Protection
This extremely cut- and abrasion-resistant material protects the sidewall of various MTB tyres. It is very tightly woven, lightweight and very flexible. As a result, the performance of the tyres remains convincingly good.
MaxxSpeed
The MaxxSpeed compound is clearly the best XC compound for XC racing. It is a high-silica compound that reduces rolling resistance while improving wet grip. Compared to the current 3C MaxxSpeed, rolling resistance is approximately 25% lower in laboratory tests (with the same tread pattern, tire construction, and air pressure).
