Not just for Californian trails – the Santa Cruz E-MTBs

With the first E-MTB Heckler Santa Cruz made a big start - and the second electric bike Bullit followed only a little later. Both are as usual in the absolute high-end range and are both equipped with Shimano motor. The e-mountain bikes from Santa Cruz are recognizable at first glance by their stylish Californian design; both the lightweight main frame and the rear triangle are made of high-quality and extremely stable Carbon C or with the even lighter Carbon CC. The trail e-MTB Heckler comes with 160 mm of travel at the front and 150 mm at the rear. The Bullit, on the other hand, is intended for the really rough trails, its chassis comes with 170 mm travel and fat 38 fork. The special feature of this Shimano e-bikes is the MX concept: the 29er front wheel is combined with a 27.5" rear wheel, which provides even more riding fun and agility. The Heckler has adopted this concept and comes optionally as an MX variant or as a 29er. As known from the non-electric MTBs, the Santa Cruz e-bike also uses the proven VPP technology at the rear, which has been adapted to the special requirements of an e-mountain bike.
