It has a climbing zone at the toe and ensures good edging performance. Its POMOCA Butylic compound rubber provides better grip on rock in both dry and wet conditions, while the aggressive tread lugs offer improved traction on mud and softer terrain. The precise-fitting upper was made from robust mesh and was given an EXA Shell technology injected 3D cage for enhanced torsional stability. It works together with the 3F system to wrap your foot for flexibility, fit and firm ankle and heel support.
To cope with wet conditions, the Wildfire GTX has a GORE-TEX® Extended Comfort lining to provide waterproof and breathable protection. Climbing lacing further supports the wrapping fit, especially at the forefoot and allows you to fine-tune the toe for greater precision in technical terrain. Inside, the breathable OrthoLite footbed provides superior cushioning and wicks away moisture, helping to keep your feet cooler and drier.

The EXA Shell grid structure wraps around your upper foot, providing you with a precise fit and perfect front-foot balance. The shell also minimizes abrasion of the upper material.
GORE-TEX® fabrics lead the industry of technical clothing in the provision of waterproof protection, breathability and durability. The GORE-TEX®membrane is completely water- and windproof and at the same time allows sweat to pass through it. The membrane is formed by pores (over 9 billion pores per square inch) which are 20,000 times smaller than a drop of water, but 700 times larger than a water vapour molecule preventing water penetration and helping the skin breathe. Resistance tested in the lab, simulating the most extreme atmospheric conditions.
Pomoca® Gliding Path facilitates the natural S-shaped roll-through of the foot. A special S-shaped tread pattern – the “Gliding Path” – ensures a seamless roll-through and reduces deformation energy. A traction zone alongside the Gliding Path offers good footing on varying terrain.
