Focus ATLAS 6.8
Pushes boundaries: The FOCUS ATLAS 6. series offers up to 47 mm tyre clearance and all mounting options for bikepacking adventures. Whether bad weather, demanding surface, steep climbs or long distances – the fast and comfortable gravel bike offers full control and maximum versatility. A wide handlebars with flare as well as disc brakes provide full control and comfort when riding the sturdy and safe aluminium bike with a carbon fork and integrated cable routing. The gravel bike comes along with a top tube bag with quick and easy access. No matter the objective, the ATLAS 6.8 fully supports your ride – even to the end of the world.

Made to lose – the new gravel bike Focus Atlas

The ATLAS is our first gravel bike. It is our all-round bike, which is not made to bring you on top as the fastest, but it will handle everything on the way. It is like a reliable good old friend, with a big pinch of trail pleasure.

Who would build a bike “made to lose” you might ask. What sounds absurd, can make a lot of sense. When appointments and smartphones have control over daily life, it is more than ever important to find moments to escape. To celebrate small things: commuting through the park to get to the office or going on a short weekend trip with friends on the bike into nature. We have built a bike that will accompany your escape.

The ATLAS is a rather long bike: the combination of the longer reach and the short stem gives the bike a really smooth ride. The high frontend gives confidence to the rider while going downhill. To keep our gravel bike playful the ATLAS frame got really nice short chainstays.

The ATLAS is not made for winning races, setting world records, or beating people. It’s made to lose. Lose your mind, lose track of time, to lose yourself. It’s for getting out in nature, having adventures, meeting people, and generally just having a great time.

Features - Focus ATLAS 6.8

  • Aluminium frame and carbon fork with integrated C.I.S. cable routing plus top tube bag
  • Shimano GRX600 2x11 groupset with special gravel ergonomics for reliable shifting and safe braking even on rough terrain
  • Reliable stability and high quality: Road Boost system wheels by Novatec with double-sealed hubs

Highlights

Comfort and control on any terrain
Whether bad weather, demanding surface, steep climbs or long distances – the robust and comfortable gravel bike offers full control thanks to an adapted frame geometry, wide handlebars with flare and disc brakes. The clean cockpit with C.I.S. cable routing from the handlebar directly into the headset avoids any hustle when installing a handlebar bag. To climb every mountain even with equipment, the Shimano GRX gravel groupset comes with a pleasant transmission ratio for everyone.

Huge tyre clearance
The ATLAS comes with 700c tyres and can take tyre widths up to 47 mm, but is also 650b-ready with tyre clearance up to 51 mm. Therefore, you have plenty of opportunities to specificate your ATLAS appropriately for your next adventure. Furthermore, the Road Boost technology provides high stability due to better spoke tension and bigger tyre clearance while still having short chainstays. No matter the objective, the ATLAS fully supports your ride – even to the end of the world.

Various options to mount equipment
Five bottle cages can be mounted: On the seat tube, above the down tube, underneath the down tube and on each side of the fork. The position of the bottle cage above the down tube is adjustable to fit a frame bag. Additionally, it is possible to equip the ATLAS with various features thanks to many mounting options on the aluminium frame and carbon fork. The mounting points on the fork are approved for 3 kg each side and can also be used for carrying any other equipment. Every ATLAS 6.8 comes with a top tube bag. It can store all your necessities that you need during the ride.

Technologies

Cockpit Integration Solution | C.I.S
The Focus Cockpit Integration Solution (C.I.S.) provides the first functional stem with internal cable routing for mechanical shifting. All cables run from the handlebars into the stem and through the headset into the frame. For optimum shifting and braking quality, Focus has chosen a bending radius that allows smooth-running cables.

Road Boost
The ROAD BOOST hubs are wider and line up the cassette with the chainrings, so the chain runs perfectly again. At the same time, the wider hubs provide additional stiffness to the wheels, and as a result a better riding performance and higher durability.

Please note that pedals are not included!
