How can you make something good even better? One of our product managers’ favorite bikes is our flow machine CRAGGER 8.0: without too many gadgets, you can experience your local trails in the purest form, which is so rare these days.
Highlights of the Cragger 8.0
It’s an honest trail hardtail with modern geometry, a flat steering angle and 130 mm spring travel. After receiving excellent feedback in the 2020 season, we are again using the award-winning DVO Sapphire D1 suspension fork in the new design. The many setting options give you complete control over the high-speed and low-speed compression as well as the rebound, and you can also finely tune the sensitivity using the OTT wheel - depending your preference, riding style and the terrain. High-quality Shimano 12-speed DEORE and XT parts provide outstanding shifting performance. The e*thirteen chain guide makes chains falling off a thing of the past - so you can completely focus on the next flow adventure. An unexpected corner or steep route over roots? Not a problem: with the biting 4-piston Magura MT5 brake, you won't lose face even in the steepest terrain - you’re guaranteed not to have fading on long downhills, moving pressure points or aching fingers with this brake. The CRAGGER 8.0 is completed by the DT Swiss M1900 with 30 mm rim width, on which we mount the legendary combination of Maxxis DHF / DHR II tires in the grippy 3C Maxxterra compound and EXO+ carcass.

"Back to your roots” – a state of the art hardtail Nothing stands in the way of boundless pure trail surfing with a 130 mm suspension fork! Internally routed cables help the look and make the CRAGGER look tidier. A stealth dropper post gets rid of the last reason for you to get on the bike on counter-climbs. A high and long front in the form of a highly-rigid tapered headtube ensures maximum comfort. The 130 mm fork is securely fitted in it and gives you sufficient feedback in the flow rush.
