Powermeter – watt measuring systems for training and competition
Whether for training or competition purposes, measuring the power output is becoming more and more popular among cyclists. There are different ways to calculate the power applied by the rider. Mostly, the powermeters are placed either in the crank arms, the crank axle or the pedal. The measured data is transmitted directly to the bike computer, allowing the cyclist to assess and adapt the performance. Combined with a pulse measuring system, powermeters ensure maximum effectiveness during training and optimum force distribution during competition.
