Tecnologia
Varioflex
Varioflex è una tecnologia che regola automaticamente la tinta delle lenti in base alle condizioni atmosferiche. La lente auto-tintometrica (fotocromatica) reagisce alla luce visibile. Quando è esposta alla luce, gli elementi chimici si aprono e creano un effetto piatto e scurente. Se l'intensità della luce diminuisce, gli elementi chimici si chiudono e il vetro torna a essere più chiaro. Questo processo avviene in pochi secondi. Il risultato: una lente adatta a un'ampia gamma di condizioni di illuminazione.
FOGSTOP
Il Fogstop è un rivestimento all'interno delle lenti. Il rivestimento non è liscio ma ruvido, addirittura "fessurato" a livello microscopico. Di conseguenza, le gocce non hanno la possibilità di formare uno strato chiuso, cioè di appannarsi e quindi di oscurare la vista. Questo accadrebbe solo se l'umidità riuscisse a riempire le fessure con l'acqua. Prima che ciò accada, tuttavia, l'umidità depositata si è già condensata da tempo e la vista rimane nitida.

Have just started using them, so cannot comment about scratch resistance and overall reliability in the long run. However, the first impression is wonderful! They are very good quality, become dark in the sun and clear in the dark... For some reason, the guide says you can not drive in them. I have no idea why, they are wonderful for driving as well as cycling! You can see the world very clearly, not a lot of distortions. The minuses: - the nose pads can not be bent, you can only turn them around to adjust; - they are a bit narrow in height, so you can see the top bar and the bottom edge; - they have some mirror effect, so you can see your own eyes in them. - why, or why alpina didn't you remove the Varioflex+ written on the lense, it is in the line of sight! Still, the best I have tried so far, thanks bike-discount!
Tolle Brille. Optimal bei unterschiedlicher Helligkeit. Das Verstellen des Bügels in der Neigung ist sehr gut, da eine optimale Belüftung eingestellt werden kann. Sehr leicht und angenehm zu tragen. Kaufempfehlung
Die Brille ist der absolute Hammer .. auch wenn ich sie während der Fahrt mit meinen MTB ( Cube Reaction GTC SL 2x carbon´n´flashyellow) benutze und ich sie leider bei der letzten 120 km Tour verlor, würde ich mir diese Brille immer wieder holen wollen. Alles andere wird ja in den anderen Kommentaren bereits positiv erwähnt .

Ich habe die Brille gestern den ganzen Tag bis in die Dämmerung hinein getragen, und tatsächlich , die Alpina funktioniert mit ihren Varioflex Gläsern ganz einwandfrei, eine echte Bereicherung gegenüber meiner bisherigen Standard Sonnenbrille , super Teil ! Der Preis bei Bike Discount ist wohl nicht zu toppen, danke auch für den superschnellen Versand.

I've been using these glasses for 3 months now and so far so good. Lens is perfect for both sunny and cloudy conditions. Also it is quite scratch-resistant. The only downside is that if you sweat a lot the top of the lens gets moist so you have to adjust position of the glasses to avoid that
