Streetwear – keep it real!
Streetwear is more than just street clothes – it is a lifestyle. The term "streetwear" comes from the skate scene of the 1970s. "Keep it real" and "stay true to yourself" was the motto of the young board rebels, who expressed the individuality and casualness of their lifestyle by their cool clothes such as sneakers, caps, wide shorts, hoodies and printed shirts. Today, streetwear as modern and sporty urban fashion is no longer limited to the board scene. Within the last decades it has become much more diverse and above all socially acceptable. However, one thing has not changed: Streetwear is still the expression of a free, authentic attitude to life.
