Shimano SH-ET5R - E-Bike Shoes
These new e-bike shoes from Shimano are equipped with a semi-rigid midsole plate for efficient power transmission to the pedal. Adaptive lateral grooves in the sole and a special block profile in the toe and heel area provide the necessary grip.
The first Shimano shoe specially tailored to the needs of e-bikers turns out to be a real all-round talent. The ET5 is of course best suited for long distance pedelec riders. But it is also an attractive solution for all occasional cyclists who want both, a high level of comfort and sufficient stiffness from their bike shoe. The rough outsole profile resembles that of a trail running shoe and offers excellent grip. In addition, the stiffness of the ET5 provides the necessary stability and allows for a loss-free transmission of the pedal power to the flat pedals. A solid lacing system and an easy-care surface complete the outdoor suitability package. Thanks to the outer design, your feet will still stay dry even during occasional downpours or when stepping into deep puddles. The mesh inner lining ensures good ventilation and the quick elimination of liquids, which makes this footwear ideal for all-day tours. The shoes were tested using the PD-GR500 platform pedals. This combination resulted in a reliable set-up that offers a high level of safety and ensures a lot of cycling fun.

Der SH-ET5R fällt seltsamerweise bedeutend enger aus , als der SH-ET3B, den ich schon - ebenfalls in Gr. 46 (Gr. 47 - wie empfohlen, war viel zu groß - zurückgesandt!) - vorher bei Bike Discount erworben hatte! Liegt wohl an der bedeutend stabileren Sohle und dem entsprechend geschlossenem Aufbau! Der heutige "Testlauf" über 65 Km verlief wie vermutet - sie passen trotzdem noch entsprechend und drücken nicht -(normal habe ich Gr. 46 - allerdings einen etwas breiteren Fuß!) Gr. 47 wäre auch hier definitiv zu groß!!. Erster Eindruck: auf jeden Fall macht der SH-ET5R einen wertigeren Eindruck als der SH-ET3B und sieht auch besser aus als der Vorgänger. Unverständlich sind allerdings die seltsamen Preisspielchen, welche sich der Versender hier leistet: beim SH-ET3B einmal 35€ für blau/dann 39,95€ für olivgrün ; beim SH-ET5R 64,95€ für rot/ beim SH-ET5Y 50€ für gelb!! Unverständlich!! Das hat allerdings keinen Einfluss auf die Qualität von SHIMANO Schuhen: alle von mir getragenen Modelle passten meist sehr gut, halten eine Menge aus , sind langlebig und bei entsprechender Pflege sehen sie auch nach Jahren noch gut aus! Kaufempfehlung!!!
