The gear changes takes over the 12-speed SRAM Eagle groupset from the GX and X01 series, which is known for its sharp and reliable performance and will also inspire you. So that the grip is not too short, our product managers rely on the grippy Maxxis Assegai and the light rolling Maxxis DHR II - both in the 3C, MaxxTerra, EXO+ version. The tires are mounted on the noble Newmen Evolution SL E.G.30, which with its 30mm inner rim width is a wonderful base and has completely convinced us in recent years by excellent reliability. The DEFT Family
DEFT means as much as "skillful" or "nimble". And that was exactly the approach in the development of a long-travel eMTB with motor. The bare key data of an E-Enduro with 170mm travel, 29" wheels and full, cross-stable equipment for maximum trail fun does not sound like a nimble bike at first. But that is exactly what we have succeeded: a bike with massive travel, enormous reserve on fast, blocky trails and yet playful handling when it comes to the technical stuff! The basis for the driving fun is the DEFT main frame made of carbon, which elegantly accommodates the shock on its wing between the top tube and down tube. As with the little brother RENDER, the battery disappears cleanly and silently guided in a rail in the down tube, where you can easily remove it via a flap for charging or replacement. But you do not have to, because a lateral charging socket on the seat tube allows of course also the charging process with installed battery.
The cable routing is ultraclean, all cables go in front directly through the Acros ICR headset in the frame, from there they run cleanly and protected in the frame. The headset also houses the block lock stop protection, so you do not damage the frame in case of a fall. The speed sensor sits protected in the left dropout and gets the signal from the magnet that rotates with the rear brake disc. For future reference, there's a recess in the top tube to accommodate a clean mini-display. A perfect match for the full-throttle carbon chassis is the latest-generation, high-torque Bosch Performance CX motor with its 85Nm and 750WH battery, giving you epic touring. The radius of action is significantly extended, you can shred all day long like never before. And last but not least, we give all DEFT models a super-solid equipment that fits the DNA of the bike, so that you lack nothing on the trail. It will be hefty with our DEFT!
The DEFT Frame
The DEFT frame is an absolute feast for the eyes and is technically equipped with the latest refinements. With 170mm travel at the front and rear, we not only offer a thoroughbred E-Enduro, but also enormous reserves on the trail and thus ensure a lot of riding fun. The clean look is ensured by the cables and lines that are completely routed through the headset. It also has a block-lock function, which prevents consequential damage in the event of a fall.
The wing-like cover, which connects the top and down tube, not only looks good, but is also an absolute technical highlight. Both the carbon main frame and the Trunnion shock mount provide a lot of stiffness and stability. As with the RENDER, the lower shock mount also provides part of the rocker, which gives the frame unique kinematics and particularly high rear end stability. The 750Wh large battery is integrated into the down tube by means of a cartridge, which ensures quiet riding and a wobble-free fit. The battery can be removed quickly and easily thanks to a rubberised cover that closes off the down tube. The battery can be charged without removing it via the charging socket on the seat tube. The rear derailleur is mounted on the new, manufacturer-independent standardised UDH hanger, and the speed sensor is elegantly integrated into the brake disc and chain stay, making the classic spoke magnet a thing of the past.
The UD-Carbon Finish
It is a common feature of UD carbon that you can see individual layers of carbon under the glossy or matt clear coat - each frame is unique due to the manufacturing process by hand and is therefore one of a kind. The fibers are arranged in parallel during this manufacturing process, so there is no need for a specially laid "visible layer" or carbon layer.

At the start into the networked e-bike world, Bosch is equipping the top drive unit Performance line CX for the future. The well-known motor with a new connectivity is accompanied by Bosch's brand-new PowerTube 750 battery - for longer riding pleasure with a significantly increased range. Beside the new LED remote, and the new 4A charger, the new smart system also includes the new eBike Flow app, which now is the center for customizing your e-bike! Thanks to the network, you can easily retrofit new functions or install updates "over-the-air". Of course, you can also track your activities and customize the riding modes. The retrofittable "ConnectModule" is intended to increase security, enabling new options for e-bike theft protection. For example, an acoustic alarm can be triggered in the event of an attempted theft, and the bike can also be tracked if it has been stolen. Further features are planned to promise more riding fun and safety with the smart system by Bosch.

Power on the hill
The maximum torque of 85 Nm has a noticeable effect on your riding behaviour when eMountain biking. The powerful motor enables rapid acceleration after tight turns and obstacles at a low cadence and facilitates starting up on the steepest of hills. For fast sprints, the motor also supports you at high cadence.
Intuitive handling
A mode for more focus: Specially designed for sporty use, eMTB mode offers you optimum control and intuitive handling, as you need to switch less between the different riding modes. With this clever function of the eMTB mode, technical sections can be mastered with confidence and obstacles such as root systems and rock gardens can be overcome by applying targeted pedal pressure with the Extended Boost. The Performance Line CX drive unit thus ensures even more riding enjoyment and a flow experience that sets the standard.

Tour+ mode requires you to pedal harder on flat tracks than Tour mode - thus saving power and extending your boundaries for even more riding enjoyment!
Whether off-road or on asphalt, Tour+ mode is always the perfect choice. That's because it constantly adapts to you. Sensors on the motor measure important riding data more than 1,000 times per second, enabling Tour+ mode to determine optimum support for you. It delivers the additional power so sensitively that you not only experience a natural riding sensation, but also enjoy a longer range by applying more power.
A personal riding experience
To ensure that the eBike’s handling characteristics suit your riding style or the selected route, the available riding modes can be customised using the eBike Flow app. The level of the support, dynamics, maximum speed and maximum torque of the drive can thus be flexibly adjusted to your personal needs and preferences. Use the eBike Flow app to download new features and updates for components such as the battery or motor and send them to your eBike via Bluetooth. That way it's always up to date and you get to enjoy more options.
Recording activities
Track your ride and fitness data as soon as you get started. If desired, the Activity Tracking for iPhone users can also sync all data automatically with Apple Health. When you take a break, the recording stops automatically.

The small and lightweight charger is ideal for on-the-go charging and supplies the PowerTube 750 with the necessary energy in no time: It takes six hours to fully charge the battery, and just over two hours to charge it halfway. Mein zweites Radon Bike. Wie das erste Rad, ist auch dieses top. Super Qualität, top Komponenten sowie ein sehr gutes Preis- Leistungsverhältnis. Das Bike fährt sich 1A, sowohl bei All Mountain als auch bei knackige Abfahrten. Ich kann die Kritiken in den Tests der bekannten Bike Zeitschriften nicht nachvollziehen. Ich glaube nicht, dass Räder anderer Marken welche 10TSD € und mehr kosten diesen Preis rechtfertigen. Bei dem DEFT 10.0 passt alles. Kann ich nur empfehlen.

Ce Radon Deft 10 est un vélo exeptionnel , grace à ca fourche et son amortisseur il est d'une stabilité extrêmement parfaite dans les descentes engagées et cela également par un angle de chasse revu par Radon. C'est le choix parfait pour la pratique du vtt engagée en montagne mais également pour de belle randonnées sur tous trails. Ce n'est pas mon premier Radon mais comme les autres se sont de magnifiques vtt très bien équipés. Je recommande vivement !!!
This bike is a "bomb" , but 150mm for seat drop on XL size is way to small, it must be at least 175mm. My inseam 93cm
