Mondraker has always considered children's bikes as a range in their collection, applying the best technology and design to each model. With an exclusive Mondraker proprietary motor and battery with three assistance modes, the GROMMY has a super light Stealth Alloy aluminium frame, internal wiring, disc brake and protective casings for maximum safety. The GROMMY is the best option for getting started on two wheels.
Internally placed cables are of course a standard feature of the GROMMY 12, as are the typical moon raker technologies such as "Stealth Alloy" and the famous Mondraker "Forward Geometry". This ensures a longer reach, which is created by the extended top tube, and allows a longer wheelbase, which leads to more control and sovereignty. The rider moves further away from the front wheel, so the stem is very short.
Geometry and specifications of the GROMMY 12 have been adapted to the needs of young riders and provide a lot of off-road fun. Hydraulic Tektro kids disc brakes with 140 mm diameter provide perfect deceleration. The wide Vee Crown Gem tires offer optimal grip on the road and on the trail. Hop on, ride on, have fun - because that's guaranteed with this kids' e-mountain bike!

Stealth Alloy encompasses all processes in the creation of the frame, from the industrial design to the specific production of each of its tubes with the calculation of the most precise details. Each tube and part is carefully designed to carry out a specific function while striving to achieve the lowest possible weight. MDK Motor
GROMMY's motor is specifically designed and produced to be neat, small, lightweight and reliable, and putting out just the right amount of power to make GROMMY fun, safe and the best way for kids to learn balance and handling.
The slim, brushless, max 250W output motor’s low, centrally-mounted position is an important element of GROMMY's handling. Mondraker's integrated approach with e-bikes – including the super-lightweight Carbon Crafty RR SL – informs the design and positioning of the motor, drivetrain and battery.
Mastering the three-speed controls is child’s play. The learning starts on the first setting, ‘Balance’ (max speed 8.1km/h) and the grins get broader on 2, ‘Fun’ and and 3, ‘Advanced’ (max 17.7km/h). Or you can turn off GROMMY's motor and kids can use it like a traditional balance bike.
For GROMMY Mondraker also decided to make their own bespoke batteries. They’re lightweight and they designed them to be really easy and safe to swap over. Because each battery unit delivers a run time of up to 60 minutes (depending on which power mode the kids ride in!) with a full charge taking just 60 minutes, a simple swap-over keeps the GROMMY going as long as your youngsters can. The motor and battery are IPX4-rated water-resistant and there’s a custom plastic protector for the motor and drivetrain to keep little feet safe.
