The main ingredient, the Pin Tonic Sole Concept 2.0, has been further developed to meet the tastes of all riders. The new outsole has a positive profile in the front and rear areas, providing a firm grip when you push or carry your bike. The negative profile in the central area, on the other hand, provides perfect grip for the pins while riding. In addition, the rubber compound has undergone an update, with which it now brings even more grip with it.
Since one should not forget despite innovations, the old proven ingredients, ION relies again on a comfortable midsole made of EVA and cozy insole. Since grip is not the only element for optimal power transmission, the Scrub has a flatter profile in the toe area, which increases the contact with the pedal. ION has learned that a good bike shoe does not depend on grip and additionally focuses on protection of the toes against stones and roots and the ankles thanks to Ankle_Pads and asymmetrical shaft.

ION's Flat Pedal outsole provides great grip through a thoughtful design and superior rubber compound by SupTraction. The outsole profile features positive threads in the forefoot and heel area for perfect traction while pushing or carrying your bike. The negative profile, on the other hand, offers the perfect grip and space for the pins while riding. On top, the SUPTraction_Rubbercompund provides all the grip you need.
