An elastic and water-repellent collar with adjustable closure provides maximum insulation, the rear strap for easy adjustment and reflective inserts for increased visibility in low light conditions. Abrasion-resistant reinforcements are located in the toe and side areas. The highly insulating midsole features an addition of thermo-reflective aluminum to form a thermal barrier that keeps your foot warm and dry. The non-slip BOA Fit System with IP-1 dial platform allows for a quick, effortless and precise fit. The closure runs across the entire front of the shoe. A supportive insole ensures comfort and efficiency while pedaling.
Directly from Gaerne's R&D team comes the new "MTB 2DENSITY SOLE 7.0" - a sole specifically designed for mountain bike use. Its structure combines nylon and fiberglass materials, which makes it durable, light and thin. The tread is designed to ensure maximum grip/stability and has excellent resistance to different types of terrain. Two removable lugs on the front give this shoe enhanced traction in inconsistent and muddy terrain.

MTB 2DENSITY SOLE
From Gaerne's R&D department comes the brand new "MTB-2density-sole" specially designed for mountain bike shoes. The nylon and fiberglass construction makes the sole light, stiff, thin and resistant. The design of the running surface ensures best grip and excellent stability in any terrain. Two removable spikes increase traction in muddy terrain.
CLOSURE SYSTEM BOA IP-1
The new BOA IP-1 turn lock has a triple function: To close the right shoe, the lock is turned clockwise and to loosen in the opposite direction. For the left shoe it works the other way round, so that you only have to turn in the direction of travel to close the shoe and in the opposite direction to loosen it. To open the lock completely, the lock is pulled upwards. The new BOA IP-1 closure has a hexagonal shape and guarantees with the rubberized surface an effective access to the BOA system.
